This design centres on the natural landmark Pont Werdd Cymru, or the Green Bridge of Wales — a limestone arch sculpted directly into the Pembrokeshire coast. The image is kept simple and graphic, using bold shapes, flat colour and a close composition focused on the arch itself, the water below and the low sun to one side. Measuring roughly 80 feet in height and spanning more than 20 metres, the arch was formed through thousands of years of coastal erosion. Waves and weather slowly hollowed caves into the cliff until they connected, leaving the impressive bridge shape visible today. Its grassy upper surface gives it the “green” title. Located within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it sits among other notable sites such as Stack Rocks and Huntsman’s Leap.
