Welcome to Eclectig Cymru

Welcome to Eclectig Cymru, our brand new website full of Welsh t-shirts, jumpers, presents and more. This site is my husband’s opportunity to share his love of Wales through the medium of design. Sadly our 4 year old can draw better than me so I can’t contribute much on the design front, but I thought this site could also be an opportunity for me to share what I love about Wales (although through words, not pictures).

I grew up in Devon but, like a lot of people from the south of England, came to Cardiff for university and stayed. My husband Cymreig Cymraeg and he was keen for our 2 children to go to Welsh school, so I am now trying to learn Welsh too to keep up with them all. 6 years in and I am very much still trying! Efallai bydda i’n ceisio i ysgrifennu yn gymraeg (maybe I will try and write in Welsh)...but I think I need to work up to that!

I am looking forward to learning more about Wales (and more Welsh). Hwyl fawr!
