This design centres on the Welsh phrase “A oes heddwch?” — “Is there peace?” It’s a line strongly associated with the National Eisteddfod, where it forms part of the Gorsedd ceremonies. The question is called out before the chairing or crowning of the bard, and the reply — “Heddwch” — confirms that peace has been found. We've paired the phrase with a clean geometric dove motif, that also incorporates the sign for peace. The circular layout and soft green palette keep things minimal and balanced, while the origami-style bird adds a little modern twist. A small, understated nod to Welsh tradition, poetry, ceremony and the hope that, at least for a moment, there is peace.
