Centred on the phrase “A oes heddwch?” — “Is there peace?” — this design draws on one of the most recognisable ceremonial lines associated with the National Eisteddfod. In the Gorsedd ceremony, the question is asked before the chairing or crowning of the bard, and the answer “Heddwch” signals that peace has been found. The artwork pairs the words with a crisp geometric dove, sitting within a circular peace-symbol design. Soft green tones give it a calm, natural feel, while the origami-inspired shape of the bird keeps the whole thing fresh and simple. It’s a quiet Welsh-language design with roots in poetry, tradition and a fairly timeless question.
