Amser Clocsio! Ceramic Mug — Welsh Clog Design

This design centres on amser clocsio - “clogging time” - a nod to the Welsh tradition of clocsio, or stepdance. The style developed in quarrying and rural communities, where dancers used hard-soled shoes to create sharp, rhythmic beats on wooden floors. It later became a familiar part of eisteddfodau and competitions across Wales. The artwork takes a bold, pop-art approach, with simplified figures and strong outlines that reflect the energetic style of Keith Haring.
