This design is built around amser clocsio - “clogging time” - a nod to the Welsh tradition of clocsio, or stepdance. The style developed in quarrying and rural areas, where dancers used hard-soled shoes to create sharp, rhythmic sounds on wooden floors. It later became a regular part of eisteddfodau and local competitions. The artwork uses a bold, pop-art style, with simplified figures and strong outlines that draw on the energetic look of Keith Haring’s work.
