Welsh hymn meets the American West in this two-sided unisex Jumper. It's based on the opening line of William Williams Pantycelyn’s famous hymn, Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer. “Arglwydd, arwain trwy’r anialwch” translates as “Lord, lead me through the wilderness” - and here the wilderness has been taken rather literally.
The large back print heads straight for the desert, with towering cacti, distant mountains, a howling coyote, crescent moon and a ram’s skull scattered across the sand. Bold black linework gives the illustration the feel of a vintage Western print.
A smaller left-chest design picks out the cactus, moon and coyote from the main scene. Welsh hymnody, desert country and just a touch of cowboy territory.
