'Cadw’r Afonydd Yn Lan' Welsh River Conservation T‑Shirt

This design takes inspiration from classic outdoor, heritage-style badges. It has a  clean circular composition and simple, graphic illustration. At first glance it shows a river scene - fish, flowing water and someone fishing from the bank - but look a little closer and you’ll spot the less welcome details: plastic bottles, a stray welly and even a shopping trolley resting on the riverbed. All of this is paired with the Welsh phrase “Cadw’r Afonydd yn Lân” ( “Keep the rivers clean”, and the design). It balances the natural beauty of rivers with the reality of pollution. Cymru has lots of great rivers - home to wildlife like salmon, trout and otters - but these environments rely on clean water to survive. The layout is clean and simple, with bold shapes, limited colour and a badge-like composition that keeps everything clear and readable. A simple, striking design with a clear message - take care of the rivers, because a because a salmon can’t fish a traffic cone out of a river.
