This fine art poster design uses a simple contrast to highlight the impact of pollution. It shows a whale’s tail rising from the ocean under a setting sun, but the water is packed with plastic bottles instead of waves. Mostly Coke, Sprite and Fanta by the look of it. It’s a close reflection of reality. Plastic accounts for most marine litter, with millions of tonnes entering the oceans each year, often carried there by rivers. Beneath the image is the Welsh phrase “Cadw’r Rwtsh Allan o’r Môr” (“Keep the rubbish out of the sea”).
