This design uses a classic pennant shape - long and angled, the kind you’d see displayed in a clubhouse or picked up as a keepsake - with Caerphilly set clearly across the front. Caerphilly sits just north of Cardiff in the Rhymney Valley and saw rapid growth in the 19th century with the expansion of coal mining. The town later gave its name to Caerphilly cheese, a crumbly, mild variety that became popular with miners due to how well it travelled underground. The layout keeps things clean, with bold colour and clear lettering that reads well across the pennant form. A straightforward graphic built around the name of a well-known south Wales town.
