This design uses the classic pennant shape — long and angled, the kind you’d see pinned up in a clubhouse or brought back from a day out — with Caerphilly set clearly across the front. Caerphilly sits just north of Cardiff in the Rhymney Valley and grew quickly in the 19th century with the rise of coal mining. The town later gave its name to Caerphilly cheese, a crumbly, mild variety that became popular with miners because it travelled well underground. The layout keeps things simple, with bold colour and clear lettering that reads cleanly across the pennant form. A straightforward graphic built around the name of a wonderful south Wales town.
