Cardiff By The Sea Mug

A clean, minimal coastal tee featuring a bold illustration of palm trees, a lifeguard tower and a bright sun over the ocean. The scene is Cardiff - just not the familiar one with the stadium and the statue of Aneurin Bevan doing its best against the local bird population. This design instead references Cardiff-by-the-Sea in Encinitas, California. It’s a small coastal town just north of San Diego, known for surfing, a relaxed feel and long stretches of Pacific shoreline. The area was developed in the early 20th century and named after Cardiff in Wales by the wife of its founder, J. Frank Cullen, who grew up in Caerdydd.
