This design takes inspiration from classic surf club logos and retro coastal badges, built around a bold circular layout with simple, flowing shapes. The curling wave wraps around the scene, framing a surfer in silhouette and giving the whole design a strong sense of movement and identity. The phrase “Clwb Syrffio Cymru” translates as “Wales Surf Club”. There’s a real sense of belonging in it. Cymru has a strong and often underrated surf culture, with well-known breaks at Freshwater West and Whitesands in Pembrokeshire, the reliable waves of Llangennith on the Gower, and the more rugged, exposed spots along the Llŷn Peninsula. It’s a coastline that rewards those who know where to look - and don’t mind a wetsuit. Visually, the design keeps things clean and confident.
