This two-sided design takes one of the great lines from a Welsh (or any) hymn and sends it somewhere unexpected. 'Arglwydd, arwain trwy’r anialwch' means 'Lord, lead me through the wilderness', the opening line of William Williams Pantycelyn’s hymn better known in English as Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer. Here, the 'anialwch' is taken fairly literally. The full back print swaps the green, green, green grass of Wales for an American desert scene, complete with towering cacti, a howling coyote, crescent moon and a rather ominous ram’s skull. The black linework gives it the feel of an old Western illustration or vintage desert badge. On the front, a smaller circular left-chest graphic picks out the cactus, moon and coyote for a simpler version of the same scene. A slightly strange meeting of Welsh hymn singing and the Wild West.
