Elegug Stacks Mug

This design focuses on Elegug Stacks on the Pembrokeshire coastline — two dramatic limestone towers standing just out at sea near the Green Bridge of Wales. The illustration strips the scene back to bold shapes, flat colour and a compact layout that highlights the stacks, the water below and the low sun behind. Formed by long coastal erosion, the stacks were once part of the cliffs before the sea slowly carved them free. Today they stand alone a short distance offshore, creating one of Wales’ most recognisable coastal views. The name Elegug comes from the Welsh word for guillemot, one of the many seabirds that fill the ledges during breeding season.
