Elvis - Preseli Hills (Pembrokeshire) T-Shirt

This design taps into a slightly tongue-in-cheek theory that Elvis might be of Welsh descent. There’s a long-standing (and very unofficial) idea that Elvis may have had Welsh roots. Some point to the similarity between “Presley” and “Preseli,” others to a small church called Eglwys Elvis in Pembrokeshire. St Elvis himself is said to have baptised St David. Elvis' mother was called Gladys - a name that is said to have Welsh origins - from the Welsh word gwlad, meaning: country, land or nation. None of this is especially proven, but that’s not really the point. A playful, character-led design built around a well-known figure, a strong sense of place, and a theory that’s just about convincing enough to enjoy.
