There’s a bit of attitude in the expression too - like this goat knows something you don’t. “Oes gafr eto?” translates as “Is there another goat?”. It's a slightly odd question it has to be said. It comes from the traditional Welsh folk song Cyfri’r Geifr (“Counting the Goats”). The song has been passed down over generations, with both words and melody evolving over time. It starts with that same question - asking whether there’s another goat yet to be milked - before moving into a rhythmic, increasingly fast sequence describing goats of different colours.
