Golf Buggy Rugby Player Mug

This mug design depicts the now-famous Andy Powell golf buggy incident, when the Welsh international rugby player, after a long night celebrating, ended up driving a hotel golf buggy towards the M4 in the early hours before being stopped by police near a motorway services.  The artwork plays up the sheer daftness of the moment: a rugby player behind the wheel, fully committed to the journey, somewhere between heroic focus and the first flicker of regret. Bold outlines, flat colour and a vintage comic-book feel keep the whole thing lively without taking it too seriously.
