This double sided design centres on one of Wales’ greatest-ever number nines - Ian Rush - on the beach, holding his Wales-issued surfboard, complete with a 'Rush' logo. Set against palm trees and a clean horizon line, he’s pictured having a lovely time on holiday at Llandudno North Shore Beach, trying to take his mind off things after failing to qualify for Italia 90. During his international career, despite scoring 28 goals for Wales, he never reached a major tournament - something that lingered quietly in the background of an otherwise remarkable career. Bold lines, flat colour, and a retro postcard feel give it that slightly surreal, sun-faded quality - part football nostalgia, part daydream. There’s something quite gentle about it.
