This design draws from classic video game style, with a neat little kart, bright block colours and shapes that feel instantly familiar, even without naming names. No sign of the happy plumber in red, nor his taller, more nervy sibling in green. The layout is clean and confident — like a penguin. The kart is angled nicely, with stars floating nearby, a few power-up details, and a banana peel abandoned on the ground like a trap set by history itself. It’s playful, readable and nicely balanced. The banana peel has been sabotaging honest effort since the 90s, though many would still argue the Blue Shell is gaming’s true villain. “Bant â’r cart” literally means “away with the cart,” but more naturally means off we go, come on now, or shift yourselves, we’ll miss the first race. A bright, fun design combining Welsh language with long-standing digital trauma.
