This design uses the classic pennant shape - long and angled, the kind you’d see pinned up in a clubhouse or brought back from a day out - with Caerphilly set clearly across the front. Caerphilly sits just north of Cardiff in the Rhymney Valley and expanded quickly in the 19th century with the growth of coal mining. The town later gave its name to Caerphilly cheese, a crumbly, mild variety that became popular with miners as it travelled well underground. The layout stays simple, using bold colour and clear lettering that reads cleanly across the pennant form. A straightforward graphic built around the name of a well-known south Wales town.
