At the centre of this design is an underwater scene filled with fish, plastic bottles and discarded rubbish. It’s paired with the Welsh phrase “Mwy o Bysgod, Llai o Rwtsh!” (“More fish, less rubbish”), a short message that gets the point across without much explanation. Cymru is home to a wide range of freshwater and coastal fish, from brown trout and salmon in its rivers to species found along its coastline. These habitats rely on clean, well-managed water, and when rubbish builds up, it has an impact on everything living there. The design keeps things clear and graphic, using bold outlines, flat colour and a layout that reads easily at a glance.
