“Cân y Wennol” means Song of the Swallow, and this design sets it alongside “Haul a Môr” — sun and sea. The artwork has a classic Welsh coastal mood, suggesting open skies, warm days, sea breeze and swallows cutting through the air above the water. Swallows are closely associated with migration, return and the arrival of better weather. They have that unmistakable summer quality — appearing over fields, swooping near beaches and signalling that the darker months have finally started to give way. The T-shirt uses a two-sided layout. The back carries the main minimalist illustration, with swallows flying home over stylised waves and a radiating sun in the background. The front is kept deliberately simple, with a small chest print featuring one swallow mark lifted from the full design.
