This design takes a dramatic turn upward, with Owain Glyndŵr shown mid-air beneath a bright parachute, floating over Eryri. Clean lines, bold colour blocks and strong contrast give the image a bright retro energy. The darker mountain shapes below balance the open sky above, while Glyndŵr himself looks surprisingly content with the situation. Owain Glyndŵr remains one of Wales’ most important historical figures — the last native Prince of Wales and leader of the national uprising in the early fifteenth century. Never captured, never fully resolved, his story still carries legend with it. Here though, he seems less interested in unfinished business and more interested in parachuting.
