This design takes a surprising underwater turn, with Owain Glyndŵr appearing as a fully equipped scuba diver in skeleton form. The style is clean and bright, using flat colour, tidy outlines and a retro palette that keeps things light-hearted. Turquoise water, coral shapes and passing fish give the whole piece a calm, floating atmosphere, while Glyndŵr seems perfectly at ease down there. Owain Glyndŵr was a Welsh prince and military leader who led a major revolt against English rule in the early 1400s, and remains one of the central figures in Welsh history. Here though, rebellion appears to be on hold. Instead, he has resurfaced only to disappear underwater again in search of new experiences. This is part of the Skeleton Glyndŵr series — the idea being that after centuries absent, he has returned mainly to enjoy himself. Surfing, skating… and now scuba diving.
