This design shows Owain Glyndŵr cruising on a skateboard down the Gower, with the famous shape of Three Cliffs Bay behind him. Sword raised, shield ready, yet somehow entirely relaxed, he appears to be mixing medieval readiness with seaside leisure. Clean lines, bold shapes and bright colours give the image a warm retro feel. Owain Glyndŵr was the Welsh prince who led the long-running revolt against English rule in the early fifteenth century - they were not fond of each other. In this version, however, he has mellowed slightly, choosing to roll through rather than charge in. Part of the wider Skeleton Glyndŵr series, where the last true Prince of Wales is determined to make the most of his return.
