Three Cliffs Bay sits on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula near Swansea, taking its name from the three pointed limestone cliffs that rise from the shoreline. It’s a well-known and scenic beach. This minimalist design reduces the landscape to a simple graphic scene, using bold colour and clear outlines to suggest the cliffs, dunes and water without added detail. The layout keeps the shapes clean and balanced so the coastline is easy to recognise at a glance. The stream Pennard Pill runs through the centre of the bay before reaching the sea, and the ruins of Pennard Castle stand on the high ground above, looking out across one of the most photographed views in Gower.
