This badge takes inspiration from vintage science fiction imagery and classic space mission patches, built around a clean circular layout. At the centre, a space shuttle lifts off into space, leaving a bright rainbow trail behind. The simple linework and limited colour palette give it a clear, space-age feel. The real Space Shuttle was the first reusable spacecraft, launching like a rocket and landing like an aircraft, completing 135 missions between 1981 and 2011. This version adds a small twist, with a red dragon wrapped around the shuttle as it launches. It gives the design a distinctly Welsh feel, like a glimpse of a parallel timeline where Cymru has its own space programme.
