This design draws on classic tattoo-style artwork, softened into a more playful illustration. At the centre is a characterful owl - book in hand, heart-shaped glasses perched on. He looks like a decent sort, the kind you wouldn’t mind sharing a pint with down the Fox, and probably full of stories. Around him sit small decorative details that give the whole piece a warm, slightly whimsical feel. Beneath the image runs the Welsh phrase “Dwlu Darllen” (love reading), set within a traditional tattoo-style ribbon.
