This design centres on the phrase “Manamana mwnci” (said as “man a man a mwnci”). It’s a slightly nonsensical expression that roughly means “might as well.” The sort of thing you say when a plan is already a bit questionable, but you’re going ahead anyway. It’s one of those phrases that doesn’t translate neatly. The “monkey” part is there more for rhythm and humour than meaning, giving the whole thing a memorable, playful feel. That same energy runs through the design. A cheerful floating monkey, an umbrella, a passing plane - it all feels a bit improvised, which suits the phrase. The clean outline, simple colours and balanced layout give it a modern-retro look, with a slight sticker-style feel. A fun, slightly unpredictable design built around a phrase that basically means: this might not be a great idea… but go on then.
