Morgan Coat Of Arms T-shirt

This design forms part of the wider series of modern Welsh surname crests — not tied to a single historical coat of arms, but built using the visual language of heraldry. Morgan is often interpreted as meaning “sea-born,” “of the sea,” /  “sea chief.” It’s one of the oldest and most widely recognised Welsh names, with deep roots especially along the Cymru's coastal regions. The shield is set on a blue  (azure) field, giving it a maritime feel - blue traditionally symbolising loyalty, truth, and the sea itself. There are three stylised wave lines across the base. At the centre stands a gold griffin, wings raised and one forepaw lifted. The griffin - part lion, part eagle (now that's a terrifying thought) symbolises strength, vigilance, and guardianship.
