The retro television frame, the suited figure, the Christmas tree just off to one side — it all echoes that slightly grainy, black-and-white film-within-a-film feel, but stripped back into bold, modern shapes. “Nadolig Llawen” — Merry Christmas — is set in a softer, more flowing script, while “ya filthy animal” lands more bluntly underneath.
