This design has a retro arcade feel, centred on a dancing dinosaur skeleton framed inside a rounded tombstone shape. The colours are punchy and slightly neon, while scattered dots and angled light beams give the whole scene that late-night, slightly surreal atmosphere. The character is all movement — limbs mid-swing, head tilted, clearly enjoying itself far more than something technically extinct has any right to. “Nos yn yr amgueddfa” translates as “night in the museum,” which suits it perfectly. The idea is based on a fossil found in Amgueddfa Cymru (National Museum Cardiff), though here he’s chosen to spend closing time having a rave. There’s something oddly comforting about the thought that once the doors are locked, things stop standing still. Not pictured: a woolly mammoth at the bar, a Roman helmet full of ice, and a suit of armour dancing with everything he's got while a pterodactyl handles the music overhead.
