This design shows Owain Glyndŵr carving down a mountainside on a snowboard — helmet on, sword still very much part of the arrangement. You can’t be too careful. The illustration has a bold graphic look, with clean lines, flat colour and a bright slightly retro palette. The angled slope and mildly off-balance stance give it a real sense of motion, like things are moving quickly and only loosely supervised. Owain Glyndŵr was a prince, military leader and probably the sort of bloke you’d happily have a pint with. He led the great uprising against English rule in the early 1400s and remains one of Wales’ most recognisable historical figures. Here though, he’s traded battlefields for downhill runs — clean line, increasing speed, full commitment. No hesitation, no edge checks, just a fast drop to see what happens.
