This design centres on Pentre Ifan - one of the most recognisable prehistoric sites in Wales, set within the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire. The illustration keeps things simple, using bold shapes, flat colour and a tight composition built around its unmistakable silhouette - the great capstone balanced on uprights with the sun sitting just behind. Pentre Ifan dates back around 5,000 years to the Neolithic period. What remains today is the exposed stone chamber of a tomb once covered by a large mound of earth. The main capstone, roughly 5 metres long and weighing around 16 tonnes, still rests improbably on the tips of three supporting stones.
The design stays minimal, working as a small front chest print that feels almost symbolic.
