Pont Werdd Cymru Mug (Pembrokeshire)

This mug focuses on Pont Werdd Cymru — the Green Bridge of Wales — a dramatic limestone arch cut naturally into the cliffs of Pembrokeshire. The illustration keeps everything pared back: bold forms, flat tones and a tight layout that draws attention to the arch, the sea beneath and the low sun nearby. Standing around 80 feet high with a span of over 20 metres, the formation was created by long-term erosion as wind and waves gradually wore through the rock from both sides. When the caves finally met, the result was one of Wales’ most striking coastal features. The top is covered with grass and low plants, giving rise to the “green” name. Set within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it shares the coastline with landmarks including Stack Rocks and Huntsman’s Leap. The design works as a minimal front print with almost badge-like simplicity.
