This mug design shows Elvis, dressed in the iconic Welsh football kit from the 1970s. It is an unlikely combination, but there is enough shared swagger between rock ’n’ roll and vintage football to make it convincing. There is even the old theory that Elvis had ancestry in Preseli, Pembrokeshire, where St Elvis parish lies a short distance from St David’s. Clean shapes, flat colour and a distinctly retro feel place the design somewhere between Vegas lights and the terraces of the Racecourse Ground.
