This design takes its cue from one of the most memorable British adverts of the 80s and early 90s. Yes, we’re talking about the famous milk campaign built around the suggestion that Ian Rush believed drinking milk was directly linked to footballing ability. First aired in 1989, it featured two young Liverpool fans debating drinks, with one insisting that milk was essential because “it’s what Ian Rush drinks” - warning that without it, you’d only be good enough for Accrington Stanley. Here, that idea is reworked into a festive scene. Rush (absolute legend) stands alongside a cheerful milk bottle and a familiar red-suited figure (also a legend, though not as prolific in front of goal), all set beneath bold retro lettering. It carries a simple festive message - This Christmas, Drink More Milk.
