This design takes things airborne, with Owain Glyndŵr reimagined mid-descent beneath a bright parachute, drifting over the Eryri mountains. The image has clean outlines, flat, bright colours with strong contrast between the sky, the canopy and the darker peaks below. There’s a real sense of movement in the pose too, like he’s enjoying the drop rather than worrying about the landing. Owain Glyndŵr is remembered as the last native Prince of Wales and the leader of a national uprising in the early 15th century — a figure who sits somewhere between recorded history and legend, never captured and never fully accounted for. Here, he’s clearly taken a more relaxed approach to his return — parachute deployed, sword still in hand (just in case), making a fairly stylish re-entry. Part of the wider “Skeleton Glyndŵr” series, this version plays on the idea that after centuries away, he’s back and making up for lost time — one slightly unexpected activity at a time.
