This design shows Owain Glyndŵr carving his way down a mountainside on a snowboard — helmet on, sword still very much part of the setup. You can’t take any chances. The illustration has a bold, graphic look, with clean lines, flat colour, and a bright, slightly retro palette. The angled slope and slightly off-balance stance give it a real sense of motion, like things are moving quickly and possibly just on the edge of control. Owain Glyndŵr was a prince, a military leader, and probably the sort of bloke you’d quite like to have a pint with. He led a major uprising against English rule in the early 1400s and remains one of Wales’ most recognisable historical figures. Here, he’s traded battlefields for downhill runs — holding a clean line, picking up speed, and committing fully rather than playing it safe. No hesitation, no checking edges — just a fast drop to see how it plays out.
