This design takes things underwater, with Owain Glyndŵr reimagined as a fully kitted-out scuba diver — albeit in skeletal form. The illustration has clean outlines, flat colour and a bright retro palette. The turquoise background, coral shapes and small shoals of fish give it that calm, drifting underwater feel, while Glyndŵr himself looks surprisingly relaxed about the whole situation. Owain Glyndŵr was a Welsh prince, military leader and all round good bloke, who led a major revolt against English rule in the early 1400s. He is still remembered as one of Wales’ most important national heroes. Here though, he’s clearly taken a different path — back from the dead, geared up, and making the most of things somewhere beneath the surface. Part of a wider “Skeleton Glyndŵr” series, the idea leans into the notion that, after centuries away, he’s returned not for rebellion — but to try everything he missed the first time round. Surfing, skating… and now scuba diving.
