Sunflowers are known for turning to follow the sun, a movement called heliotropism. This design features a small cluster of bold sunflowers arranged in a simple square layout, facing toward the light in a field in Rhossili. The artwork uses strong shapes and warm tones - golden petals, deep centres and dark green leaves - giving it a slightly retro feel while keeping the image clear. The layout remains balanced and uncluttered, with the flowers sitting above the Welsh words “Blodau Haul” (Sunflowers). A bright, retro design built around the Welsh name for one of the most familiar summer flowers.
