This mug design is a festive nod to one of the great British adverts of the late 80s and early 90s - the famous milk campaign that managed to link Ian Rush, footballing greatness and a cold glass of milk in the minds of an entire generation. First shown in 1989, the advert featured two young Liverpool fans discussing what to drink, with one explaining that milk was the obvious choice because “it’s what Ian Rush drinks.” The warning was clear: ignore the milk, and you might only end up good enough for Accrington Stanley.
