Three Cliffs Bay sits on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula near Swansea. It takes its name from the three pointed limestone cliffs that rise from the shoreline. It's a beautiful, idyllic beach. This minimalist design reduces that landscape to a simple graphic scene, using bold colour and clear outlines to suggest the cliffs, dunes and water without extra detail. The layout keeps the shapes clean and balanced so the coastline is easy to recognise at a glance. The stream Pennard Pill runs through the middle of the bay before reaching the sea, and the ruins of Pennard Castle sit on the high ground above the beach, looking out across one of the most photographed views in Gower.
