Tiger Bay was the historic dockland area of Caerdydd, now known as Cardiff Bay. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries it was one of the busiest coal-exporting ports in the world, and the neighbourhood that grew around it became known for its mix of sailors, workers and families from many different countries. This design leans into that older name, pairing it with a retro-inspired graphic style and clear, confident lettering. The layout is bold and balanced, keeping the focus on the name and the energy behind it without adding unnecessary detail. Tiger Bay carries weight in Cardiff’s story — a reminder of the city’s dockland past and the communities that shaped it.
