Anyone educated in a Welsh-medium school will be familiar with the line “Tinsel ar y Goeden” (Tinsel on the tree) from the song “Nadolig, Pwy a Wyr?” You probably had to sing it until it was permanently lodged in your brain. Here, the tree in question is brought to life mid-step, wrapped up, and looking a bit wobbly like he’s had a couple of cwrws. The illustration leans into that classic cartoon style: bold outlines, flat colour, and a gentle vintage feel. The soft greens, reds and golden tinsel give it a warm festive feel.
