Glyndŵr’s posture gives the impression of someone thoroughly enjoying himself. Owain Glyndŵr is remembered as the last native Prince of Wales and the leader of the great Welsh uprising of the early fifteenth century — never captured, and still wrapped in myth. Here though, he has clearly returned on different terms: parachute deployed, sword still close by, making a stylish and entirely unnecessary entrance.
