Sword in hand, shield under arm, he looks prepared for almost anything while still keeping a smooth line on the board. The illustration uses bold forms, crisp outlines and bright flat tones to create a playful retro look. Owain Glyndŵr was the Welsh prince who led the famous rebellion against English rule in the early 1400s. Here though, the battlefield has been exchanged for coastal pavement and a decent set of wheels. Part of the wider Skeleton Glyndŵr series, where after centuries away he returns chiefly to enjoy himself at speed.
