Infant Welsh Rocket T-Shirt

For this badge, we have drawn influence from vintage science fiction images and space exploration badges, with a focus on a round badge featuring a space shuttle zooming into outer space. The simplicity of the design, coupled with clear lines and a reduced colour palette makes it have that space-age vibe. At the centre, there is a space shuttle going up while leaving a colourful, rainbow trail behind. The Space Shuttle used to be the world’s first reusable spacecraft, capable of launching as a rocket and landing back at the designated airport just like any airplane; it made a total of 135 flights between 1981 and 2011. The design has made a slight alteration to the Shuttle design; this time, we have a space shuttle with a red dragon embracing it as it launches. This gives the badge a distinctly Welsh character; it feels like this represents a parallel timeline whereCymru has started its own space program, with its unique space badges. Indeed, the design comes from a set of other similar designs for what might be called an unofficial Welsh National Space Agency. In terms of visuals, it is all pretty straightforward, with a nice circular layout featuring a simple outline of stars and the main image in the centre.
