This design shows a hare and a tortoise tearing along together on a small motorbike, clearly committed to a day out at Llyn y Fan Fach in Bannau Brycheiniog. None of that is pictured, but the intention is there. The artwork uses bold lines, soft friendly colours and slightly wonky proportions that give everything a lively, playful feel. Movement lines, raised arms and the general lack of concern for health and safety add to the sense of cheerful chaos. 'Hwyl a Sbri' loosely translates as 'fun and games' or 'good times.' It suits the scene perfectly. This isn’t about racing, winning or proving a point - it’s simply about the joy of heading off somewhere together with no proper plan. There’s a quiet nod to the old fable too, only reworked. No slow and steady, no finish line - just a tortoise and a hare who’ve sensibly decided to share the bike and see what turns up. A bright, easy-going design built around movement, mischief and not taking life too seriously.
